1. Firearms

After Transfer — No Returns

Once a firearm has been transferred through a Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) and ATF Form 4473 has been completed, the sale is final. Federal and Colorado law prohibit BDG from accepting the return of a transferred firearm without completing a new transfer and background check, which may not be legally possible in all circumstances. We do not accept returns of transferred firearms for any reason, including but not limited to dissatisfaction with the product, change of mind, or inability to use the firearm.

Pre-Transfer Cancellations

If your order has not yet been shipped to the receiving FFL and you wish to cancel, contact us immediately at our contact form. Cancellations before shipment may be honored at BDG's discretion and may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20% of the purchase price. Orders that have already shipped to the receiving FFL cannot be cancelled or refunded.

Denied Background Checks

If your NICS background check is denied by the FBI and the firearm cannot be transferred, BDG will issue a refund for the firearm purchase price, less a processing and handling fee of $50 or 5% of the purchase price (whichever is greater). Transfer fees paid to the receiving FFL are non-refundable. BDG is not responsible for any delays, denials, or holds resulting from NICS proceedings.

Defective Firearms

If you receive a firearm with a documented manufacturing defect, contact us within 7 days of transfer. At BDG's discretion, we may facilitate a manufacturer warranty claim on your behalf. BDG does not directly accept firearm returns due to legal restrictions; all warranty claims for defective firearms are processed through the manufacturer's warranty program.

2. NFA Items

All sales of National Firearms Act (NFA) regulated items — including suppressors/silencers, short-barreled rifles (SBR), short-barreled shotguns (SBS), and any other NFA-regulated item — are final and non-refundable once payment has been submitted and the ATF transfer process has been initiated. The NFA transfer process involves federal tax and registration; once the process begins, it cannot be reversed.

3. Ammunition

All ammunition sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges on ammunition for any reason, including but not limited to:

This policy exists due to the safety risks associated with returning ammunition that has left our custody. If you believe you received defective ammunition, contact the manufacturer directly for warranty assistance.

5. How to Initiate a Return

  1. Contact BDG through our contact form within the applicable return window.
  2. Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  3. Wait for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Do not ship items before receiving an RMA — unrequested returns may be refused.
  4. Package the item securely in its original packaging. Mark the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package.
  5. Ship the item to the address provided with your RMA, using a trackable shipping method. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a defect or BDG error.
  6. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item. Refunds are issued to the original payment method.

6. Damaged in Shipping

If your order arrives visibly damaged, document the damage with photographs immediately and contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Retain all original packaging materials; they may be required for a carrier insurance claim. Do not discard damaged packaging until the claim is resolved.
